I LOVE WHAT I CANT AFFORD...Balenciaga FALL2010 Ready-to-Wear Collections

The person that came up with the phrase the best things in life are free...obviously didn't see this Balenciaga collection. The real expression should be the best things in life have more than three digits on the price tag...But anywho there is no need to focus on my lack of funds but time to focus on the funds that i will be saving for when it goes on sale for 70% off at the outlets in the next year or two (dont judge me) but in the mean time this collection is ascetically pleasing to the eye. And i am happy to inform you that it is free to window shop. But one must warn you that if you are financially challenged like myself these images may cause you to think of various crimes to committ just to obtain some of these garments...or maybe thats just me....and maybe i need a little bit of help or perhaps a better job....anywho enjoy some of my fav's from the 2010 collection!!!!

here's a little story about me and her....

Her: You are not the boss of me.
Me: Shut up....and put the damn dress on.
Her: How long is this going to take.
Me: Ugh....just pretend like we actually get along.
Her: Maybe i should sit down in this chair and you stand-up.
Me: Thats a good idea...now don't make anymore suggestions.Just sit there and be pretty.

Her: Is my hair okay.
Me: It doesn't matter they will be to busy looking at me.

Me: Lets pretend like we are bored.
Her: I am bored!!!
Me: Shut up!!!

Me: Mom has the best jewelry
Her: i make it look good.
Me: Ugh *inserts eyes rolling*
Her: lets do something that represents how we really feel about each other.
Me: I have the most talented and beautiful sister in the world. Who is also my personal manikin in the privacy of our own home. But i love her to death and she has great amazing things coming up...on a different note look out for my fashion section in TOXINMAGAZINE.COM!!!!

Songs i love to love....

When i first heard this song it made me smile. Because i knew it was song that only someone from Houston can truly love and understand. And it made me love my fabulous city even more. H-Town baby!!!!

As soon as the beat drops it sends me straight back to my fifth grade talent show when i sang this song (keep in mind a cat giving birth sounds  better than me) But i always loved and admired Mariah. And this song is my all time favorite song in the world.

Beyonce is my all time favorite artist. I mean the girl can do it all. And she has represented Houston very very well. But this song is on repeat every time i get dressed up to hit the town. I turn into Sasha-Fierce!!!

"SIngle black female addicted to retail".....Man this song really spoke to me when i was in college. And even now in my struggle to find myself. But i think this is one of the greatest and i am a die-hard Kanye fan.

new hair cut!!!!!!

West 19th.....

WEST 19th is a place where dreams comes true...well that's if you are like me and your dream is to own a vintage Valentino blouse. West 19th serves as the center-piece to the a place in Houston known as THE HIEGHTS.....i call it my getaway because when i am here i feel like i have momentarily escaped the cliches of Houston. I feel like i can breathe again...ok its not that deep but it is that great and it is a great break away for every vintag-nista, recession-nista and what ever else type of "nista" there is. And not only are there great vintage shops and boutiques but there are great restaurants, furniture stores, art galleries and around the corner from West 19th is a car musuem (the car im leaning against below is one of the many cars from the museum)...and the most important thing is you will always see someone or something interesting when you stroll down the little street known as West 19th!
